Bill O’Brien’s weekly Tuesday press conference has been postponed until 12:45 p.m. Wednesday because of Hurricane Sandy, Penn State announced Monday.
O’Brien will be on the Big Ten Coaches’ Teleconference at 1:20 p.m. Tuesday.
Penn State has canceled classes after 1:10 p.m. Monday because of Hurricane Sandy. The University Park campus will remain closed until 6 a.m. Tuesday. Officials will make a determination on Tuesday classes at a later time.
According to forecasts, University Park will receive rain Monday into early Tuesday, in total of about three to five inches. Flooding across parts of the state is expected, as are downed trees and power outages.
