Penn State has released online the position statements of 86 candidates for its Board of Trustees.

The statements, posted as PDF items, are available through this page.

The candidates are vying for three alumni-controlled seats on the 32-voting-member board. Controversy and fallout from the criminal charges against former assistant football coach Jerry Sandusky and two university administrators — Tim Curley and Gary Schultz — have fueled substantial interest in the board race this year.

Earlier coverage is available via the pages linked below. Penn State alumni may vote online in the race between April 10 and 9 a.m. May 3. The winning candidates will serve three-year terms and be seated July 1.
