A key part of the Penn State Lady Lions’ 2011 campaign against breast cancer — an online auction — opened Monday.
Bids are now being accepted in the Penn State Pink Zone auction on charitybuzz.com. It features 46 items, including trips; an opportunity to meet Tony Bennett; a chance to throw the first pitch at a Pirates game; and a used pair of Joe Paterno’s sneakers.
Through a variety of avenues, the Lady Lions basketball team is trying to raise $150,000 for breast-cancer charities. More information is available via Charity Buzz, the Penn State Pink Zone website and this separate auction page
