Ferguson Township police are investigating the theft of a vehicle from the parking lot of Uni-Mart, 315 W. Aaron Dr.

Police responded at about 6:30 p.m. on Thursday when the owner of a black 2007 Honda Civic sedan reported the car had been stolen. The owner said he parked the car, bearing Pennsylvania registration JYC-7157, in front of the Uni-Mart and left it running and unlocked while he went inside to purchase cigarettes.

Surveillance video showed a white male wearing black or dark clothing and a baseball hat enter the car and drive west on Aaron Drive toward Martin Street, police said. The suspect, pictured above in video still images, appeared to have a short beard.

The Civic has a black front license plate with an image of a softball and the nickname ‘Bug.’
