Patton Township police are investigating a single-vehicle hit-and-run crash that happened about 2 p.m. May 28, the department reported Tuesday.
It happened on Meeks Lane, near Buffalo Run Road in the Port Matilda area, according to a news release. The driver of a Dodge Dakota pick-up truck — one likely made in the mid-1990s — fled the scene of a wreck where the vehicle left substantial property damage, police said.
The pick-up truck would have sustained moderate damage as a result of the crash, according to the release.
Police are asking anyone who witnessed the incident — and anyone with other information — to call the township police at (814) 234-0273.
