Police Seek Suspect in Stop Sign Theft

State College police are looking for a person suspected of stealing a stop sign on Saturday night.

At 10:43 p.m, police responded to a report of the stop sign being removed at the intersection of South Garner Street and East Prospect Avenue. 

The suspect — a white male wearing white sneakers, dark socks, white shorts and a dark shirt — fled with the sign and post.

Anyone who may have information about the theft is asked to contact the State College Police Department at (814) 234-7150, by email or by submitting an anonymous tip through the department’s website.
