Over 140 Special Olympians took part Thursday at the Geri Ryan Track and Field event held at the Indoor Track at Penn State. Just outside that track, over 2,000 are expected Sunday to run and walk
in the 3rd Annual Beaver Run to benefit Special Olympics.
At both events, the first lady of Special Olympics Pennsylvania – as many call her – Sue Paterno is there — volunteering.
