Three Charged After Drug Bust in Patton Township

Three New York men are facing felony charges for allegedly selling crack cocaine in Patton Township.

The Centre County Drug Task Force became aware in March of alleged crack trafficking activity at a residence on Cricklewood Drive, according to the Centre County District Attorney’s Office. Multiple law enforcement agencies on Thursday executed a search warrant on the apartment, leading to the arrests.

Patrick Lee Kellow, 23, of Far Rockaway, N.Y., and Shequan Bridgemohon, 27, of Fresh Meadows, N.Y., were both charged with two counts of possession with intent to deliver and one count of delivery of crack cocaine. Derrick Hagood, 26, of Bronx, N.Y., was charged with one count of possession with intent to deliver crack cocaine and one count of possession with intent to deliver marijuana.

Police said the search of the apartment yielded 74.8 grams of crack with a street value of $7,500; 79.1 grams of marijuana with a street value of $500; prescription medications Oxycodone, Viagara, codeine, Percocet and Tramadol; $4,303 in cash; and a Springfield Armory 9 mm semi-automatic handgun.

All three men were arraigned on Friday morning before District Judge Thomas Jordan and were placed in the Centre County Correctional Facility. Straight monetary bail was set at $25,000 for Hagood and Kellow and $40,000 for Bridgemohon. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Wednesday.

The Pennsylvania Attorney General’s Office Bureau of Narcotics Investigation, Centre County Drug Task Force; state police K-9 unit participated in the investigation. 

The search warrant was executed with the assistance of the Centre County Tactical Response Team, comprised of officers from State College, Patton Township, Ferguson Township, Spring Township, Bellefonte and Penn State.
