Following the death of Timothy Piazza, who died from injuries sustained after falling down the stairs at Beta Theta Pi fraternity during a bid acceptance, Penn State instituted a series of new restrictions for fraternities and sororities related to alcohol, social events and new member recruitment.
The Centre County Report informally surveyed more than 800 students and alumni anonymously to see what they think about how the crackdown on Penn State’s Greek life might affect admissions, binge drinking, and more. Taylor Stetzar reports on the findings.
