We will hold back a tinge of hatred until the actual interview is played on “Rock Center” Monday night, but there is no way around thinking that Jerry Sandusky has to be the dumbest, most arrogant man around.
NBC reported Sandusky, the man charged with multiple counts of sexual abuse of minors, was going to be featured in an interview with Bob Costas on Monday night’s “Rock Center” with Brian Williams. The show will air on NBA at 10 p.m. EST and 9 p.m. CT.
The report is slowly making this interview a must see event as quotes from Sandusky’s mouth are being released in the report as well as on Twitter.
The one that makes you sick to your stomach as you shake your head in amazement is this little gem.
I would say that Sandusky has lost all semblance of reality, but with the charges that are pending, that may have happened decades ago.
The fact is Sandusky is going on national TV with a story that begins with “I did it” and ends with “but it wasn’t sexual.”
How he can admit to showering with young boys, touching them and not realizing how evil that is only shows you with the type of arrogance we are working with.
The man was able to do as he pleased for years it seems as a defensive mastermind and then as a revered member of Penn State in retirement. The man was a god in a community that treated him as such.
It shouldn’t be the least bit shocking that a man who allegedly did what he did for years without being reprimanded would take to the interview with such brash confidence.
In the movies, the villains usually deny that their crimes were ever committed. It seems that in real life they try and prove that their crimes were never crimes. How I wish this was all a movie.
