The Nittany Valley Curling Club is meeting from 8:30 to 10:30 p.m. at the Pegula Ice Arena Community Rink in University Park on Sunday, Jan. 7. The event welcomes all people of any age and skill level.

Bellefonte Cash Bingo — Monday, Jan. 8
Bellefonte Cash Bingo is from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Saint John the Evangelist Catholic School in Bellefonte on Monday, Jan. 8. The event is open to the public and it’s $20 for 20 games. Proceeds from the event benefits the Bellefonte Knights of Columbus. There will also be homemade baked goods and items for dinner.

This book club for adults ages 55 and older will be from 12:15 to 1 p.m. at the Centre Region Active Adult Center in the Nittany Mall on Wednesday, Jan. 10. The book club will discuss books, chat about books guests have already read, preview upcoming releases and more.

The State College Rotary Club, State College Sunrise Club and the State College Downtown Rotary Club is having a “This is Rotary” event from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at Videon Central in State College on Thursday, Jan. 11. The event will feature a short presentation, discussions with local Rotarians and refreshments. The community is invited to learn about how the State College Rotary clubs impact the community and world.
