Downtown State College Farmers Market — Friday, Oct. 13
The Downtown State College Farmers Market will take place on Friday, Oct. 13, from 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Locust Lane. With farmers and vendors from all over Centre County, there will be food, plants, custom-made goods and more. The Downtown State College Farmers Market will be held every Friday, with the last market of the year on Nov. 17.

There will be a vintage pop-up shop and car show at the Tussey Mountain Beer Garden in Boalsburg from 3 to 9 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 13. There will be spooky entertainment, vendors, beer and food.

Line Dancing Relay for Life Fundraiser — Saturday, Oct. 14
Centre Boot Company and Lion Country Line Dancing are sponsoring the Line Dancing Relay for Life Fundraiser from 7 to 10 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 14, at Our Lady – The Snow Skating Rink in Snow Shoe. The event will have line dance lessons, food trucks, raffles and more. All proceeds will benefit Centre County Relay for Life Team: Wingate Warriors. Doors open at 6 p.m.

Discovery Run #8 will take place from 7:30 to 9 a.m. at Tussey Mountain Ski Area on Saturday, Oct. 14. The event is a free group run on part of the Tussey Mountainback course. The group will carpool to Bear Meadows to start.

The Wasson Farm Fall Fest will take place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Oct. 14-15 in State College. The farm will have hayrides, pumpkin picking, a corn maze, wine tasting, barrel train rides, food and more.

Local nonprofit Pixie Dust Wishes is hosting their Halloween in Neverland event as the organization grants a wish to their 23rd recipient. Pixie Dust Wishes grants people with disabilities a trip to Walt Disney World. Halloween in Neverland is from noon to 3 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 15, at Tom Tudek Memorial Park in State College. There will be trick or treating, a costume contest for everyone including pets, lunch, arts and crafts, games, a silent auction, basket raffles and more.

Miguel Espinoza Fusion — Sunday, Oct. 15
Miguel Espinoza Fusion is coming to the Columbus Chapel and Boal Mansion Museum in Boalsburg for a concert. The concert is at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 15, in the Boal Barn Great Room. Miguel Espinoza Fusion invites the listener to a symposium of diverse world music traditions. Firm roots in flamenco, classical and jazz are intertwined with North African rhythms, Celtic playfulness and Brazilian expressions, creating a transformative, vibrant and deeply emotive sound. Lunch or a quart of soup costs $8. The proceeds from the event will go towards local missions in the area.
