THE LITTLE LADY LIONS fell to 2-6 with a loss to Perkiomen Valley.

STATE COLLEGE — State College slipped to 2-6, dropping its fourth game in a row, 64-41, against Perkiomen Valley in the opening round of its Holiday Hardwood Tournament on Tuesday, Dec. 27.
Perkiomen entered the game undefeated.
No further details were available at the Gazette’s press deadline.


ST. JOSEPH’S
St. Joseph’s continued to be in search of its first win of the year, a scoreless second quarter proving the homestanding WolfPack’s undoing in a 39-15 defeat to once-beaten Juniata Valley on Wednesday, Dec. 21.
The WolfPack only were down by two (6-4) heading into the second quarter, but the Lady Hornets outscored them 16-0 in that frame and never looked back.
Aubrey Yartz paced St. Joseph’s with nine points. The WolfPack dipped to 0-5.
Makayla Moskel’s 12 points led Juniata Valley. Makenna Hartman scored eight of her 10 points on the night in the pivotal second quarter.
