HARRISBURG — During the annual conference in Harrisburg on July 19, the Pennsylvania Association of Conservation Districts honored Thomas Boldin, Centre County Conservation District director, with the Ann Rudd Saxman Conservation District Director Excellence Award. This award recognizes outstanding volunteer efforts that have advanced the activities and accomplishments of conservation districts statewide.
Boldin has been a dedicated member of the Centre County Conservation District Board of Directors since 1971, serving as both chairman and vice chairman and participating in numerous committees. Over his 50-plus years of service, he has become a respected mentor to new directors and a source of guidance to Conservation District staff as they take on new programs.
His presence and leadership have influenced countless individuals as they address conservation issues of statewide importance.
