ROCKVIEW STATE POLICE

Employees at Best Line Powersports in Potter Township reported to police that two Kawasaki ATVs were taken from the front parking lot sometime from Feb. 16 to Feb. 21. The investigation is ongoing.

A piggy bank containing approximately $1,200 was reported to police as missing from a bedroom on Ellman Lane, Benner Township, sometime from Feb. 19 to March 12. Police said the victim believes the money was removed by a member of the household.

Police were called to investigate after Brittany Wingard, of Woodward, entered a garage without permission on Green Grove Road, Gregg Township, at 8:15 a.m. Feb. 20.

Police are investigating an incident in which an inmate at SCI Benner was found to have a weapon after he assaulted another inmate Feb. 27.

An inmate at SCI Benner was found with a sharpened piece of hardened plastic on his person during a search March 2, police said.

On March 5, police responded to SCI Benner after an inmate was found to have contraband. The investigation is ongoing.

Police report they found Andrew Grim, of Bellefonte, to be in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia March 8 on Interstate 99 at mile marker 77 following a traffic stop.

Police cited Erik Andresen, of Bellefonte, with careless driving after he crossed into the right lane while he was  driving in the left lane on Interstate 99 and crashed into the bumper of  another vehicle traveling in the same direction. The other driver suffered minor injuries.

A juvenile patient at The Meadows was charged with harassment March 12 after he punched another juvenile in the head, according to police.

Police said they charged a juvenile male with disorderly conduct March 13 after he sent a photo causing public alarm at Penns Valley Area High School.

Tyler Baines, of Lewistown, was charged with harassment by physical contact by police after he allegedly punched another patient in face March 14 at The Meadows. A witness told police Baines punched the other patient because he was in the wrong group and didn’t leave after Baines told him to.

A 20-year-old Millheim man was charged after he attempted to purchase alcoholic beverages as a minor at the 200 block of Greenbrier Gap Road, Penn Township, at 1:26 a.m. March 14.

PHILIPSBURG STATE POLICE

Police said they stopped Nicholas Romano, of Bradenton, Fla., for speeding on Interstate 80 in Boggs Township. The vehicle Romano was driving was found to be stolen from Colorado, and police said he was arrested for receiving stolen property and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle March 16.

Police were notified of drugs that were found on South Eagle Valley Road, Huston Township, on March 14. Upon arrival to the scene, authorities determined that someone had disposed of a used heroin bag on the side of the road. The investigation is ongoing.

Police investigated an incident of harassment in which Douglas Potts, of Philipsburg, was accused by a woman of unwanted physical contact at the Philips House Laundry, 100 E. Beaver St., Philipsburg, on March 14. Potts was cited for harassment.

Police arrested Kelli Roach, of Osceola Mills, after she was observed walking out of Weis Market in Philipsburg on March 14 with $48.72 worth of groceries in her purse.
