STATE POLICE AT ROCKVIEW
State police responded to a residential burglary around 3 p.m. on May 18 along West Pine Street in the Philipsburg Borough. According to police, $1,500 in change, $500 worth of pool sticks and several pocketknives worth $150 were stolen from a 70-year-old Philipsburg woman’s residence. Police ask anyone with information regarding the case to contact PSP Rockview.

State police responded to a crash that occurred around 5 p.m. on May 24 along South Eagle Valley Road, east of Showers Street in Union Township. According to police, a 22-year-old Bellefonte man was driving a 2012 Fiat 500 north on South Eagle Valley Road when a 79-year-old Julian man driving a 2012 Suzuki Grand Vitara attempted a left turn onto Showers Street without enough space and pulled in front of the Fiat 500, hitting the vehicle. No injuries were reported by police, but the driver of the 2012 Suzuki Grand Vitara was cited for the crash.

State police responded to a harassment incident around 11 a.m. on June 3 along Howard Divide Road in Howard Township. According to police, a 59-year-old Howard man was cited for the incident. Police did not release additional details.

State police responded to a single-vehicle crash around 6:30 p.m. on June 1 along North Street (PA Route 445) in Penn Township. According to police, a 23-year-old Spring Mills man was driving a 2005 Honda Civic when he lost control of the vehicle and hit a guide rail. After hitting the guide rail, the vehicle swerved and hit another embankment before flipping and coming to a final rest on its roof. The driver of the 2005 Honda Civic was transported to the hospital for suspected minor injuries and was cited for the crash.

State police initiated a traffic stop around noon on June 2 along Interstate 80 in Boggs Township. According to police, a 37-year-old Bangor man was found to have a small amount of cannabis. After the Bangor man requested the search of the vehicle be stopped, police obtained a warrant and further investigation found about a pound of cannabis, THC wax and THC vapes. The 37-year-old was cited for the incident.
