STATE POLICE AT ROCKVIEW

Police investigated a call involving harassment on Monday, June 9, at approximately 9 p.m. at the Meadows in Potter Township.

According to police, it was determined that the actors involved in the incident would be charged with harassment.

Police are investigating a call involving a theft that happened on Monday, June 9, at approximately 5:30 p.m. on Main Street in Penn Township.

According to police, the incident occurred when an unknown actor took a fly rod from the top of the victim’s vehicle.

The investigation is ongoing, police said.

Police responded to a report of a scam on Tuesday, May 10, at approximately 2:30 p.m. along Bumbarger Road in Snow Shoe Township.

According to police, the incident involved a 79-year-old Snow Shoe man who was informed he had won $950,000 but had to pay taxes on the money. The victim paid $8,066 to the unknown actor and never received any money.

There are no current leads in this case, police said. Anyone with information is urged to call PSP Rockview at 814-355-7545.

Police assisted Centre County Probation with a home visit on Wednesday, June 11, at Houtz Lane and Randall Road in Halfmoon Township at approximately 4 p.m.

According to police, Centre County Probation located drugs and other paraphernalia inside the residence. Charges in the case are pending, police said.
