A case of criminal mischief is being investigated by state police. According to police, sometime between Nov. 1 and Nov. 13, someone allegedly gained access to a building by going through a basement window. The building is located along State Street, Rush Township. A window was broken, police said. Damage is estimated at $75. The investigation is ongoing, police said.

State police investigated a case of assault that took place at The Meadows, located along Meadows Drive in Potter Township, on Nov. 9. According to police, a 17-year-old man from Falls allegedly assaulted a 20-yearold Bellefonte woman. Staff contacted PSP about the incident. It took place sometime between 5 and 5:45 p.m., police said.

A case of theft was investigated by state police recently. According to police, a pair of Carolina work boots were stolen from a private residence along Mudlick Road in Huston Township. According to police, the boots belonged to Ronald Houtz, 51, of Boalsburg.

The theft took place sometime between Aug. 2 and Nov. 3, police said. The boots were valued at $279.

A case of theft by deception is being investigated by state police. According to police, a Coburn man filed for unemployment but had not received his checks. The man resides along Railroad Street in Penn Township. The investigation continues.

State police are investigating an alleged case of theft by deception. According to police, a 48-year-old Spring Mills woman had a fraudulent charge on her credit card in the amount of $242.20. The charge was made sometime between Oct. 2 and Oct. 4, police said. The investigation is ongoing.

State police investigated a case of theft by deception that took place on Nov. 22. According to police, a 60-yearold Bellefonte woman had $3,611.80 removed from her checking account. The incident is also being investigated by the Eden Prairie Police Department. The investigation is ongoing.

A case of driving under the influence was investigated by state police on Nov. 30. According to police, they were called to check on the welfare of a man locked inside a 2002 Chevrolet. Police said the 33-year-old Aaronsburg man was alleged to be under the influence of a controlled substance. He was transported to the Mount Nittany Medical Center for a blood draw. Charges are pending the results of the blood draw. The incident took place at 6:03 p.m.

State police were called to the scene of a one-vehicle crash that took place along state Route 45 in Potter Township on Nov. 4. According to police, a 2017 International Harvester being driven by Dominic Galliani, 58, of Lewistown, left the roadway and then came back onto the roadway before crashing near 2236 Earlystown Road. Galliani and a passenger were not hurt in the crash. Galliani was cited for reckless driving, police said.

A motorcycle crash took place on Nov. 10 along Brush Valley Road in Miles Township. According to police, Ryan Sheets, 33, of New Columbia, was riding his 2010 Harley-Davidson MC when a deer entered the roadway. The motorcycle struck the deer. Sheets suffered severe injuries in the 8 p.m. crash and was transported to UPMC-Williamsport by LifeFlight. Damage to the motorcycle was severe.

A one-vehicle accident was investigated by state police on Nov. 13 in Penn Township. According to police, a 2015 Volkswagen GTI, being driven by Andrew Smith, 42, of Millheim, was traveling along Long Lane when his GTI struck an embankment and then a ditch before coming to rest. Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
