STATE POLICE AT ROCKVIEW

State police investigated a case of alleged drug possession that took place at 2:30 p.m. on Jan. 10 in Boggs Township.

According to police, a female juvenile from Julian was charged along South Eagle Valley Road. No other details were reported.

A case of retail theft was investigated by state police at 10:24 a.m. on Jan. 7. According to authorities, an 18-year-old male from Philipsburg allegedly stole a USB charging cord from a Uni-Mart convenience store in Rush Township.

The cord was valued at $9.99. Charges are pending through magisterial district justice 49-3-03.

State police investigated a video on Jan. 4 in which the person in the video was allegedly shown to be in possession of a gun. The person in the video should not have been in possession of a firearm, police said.

The investigation is ongoing.

A case of theft is being investigated by state police. According to authorities, a 52-year-old Bellefonte man was allegedly scammed out of $150 via Cash App. The incident took place along Devils Elbow Road in Boggs Township.

State police made a drug arrest at 8:46 a.m. on Jan. 1. According to police, Fawwaz Haidrah, 22, of Greenville, Mississippi, was stopped along Interstate 80 in Spring Township. Police say that Haidrah was allegedly in possession of a small amount of marijuana and had a loaded firearm in the center console.

Haidrah was arrested and arraigned, police said.

State police investigated a case of terroristic threats that took place at 4:24 a.m. on Jan. 4.

According to police, a case of domestic violence was reported and upon investigation, Nicholas Linville, 34, of Bellefonte, was taken into custody. The victims were a 34-year-old Bellefonte woman and a 35-year-old Howard man.

Authorities said a flat screen TV, a small fan, a mop bucket and a large wooden kitchen table were damaged in the incident. Damage was estimated at $1,140. A 2016 Ford Explorer was also vandalized. The incident took place along Summers Lane in Boggs Township.

A case of alleged assault was investigated by state police at Rockview. Authorities were called to the scene of a car crash along Interstate 99 in Huston Township a little after 6 p.m. on Dec. 4.

When PSP arrived, they found Alessandro Pennella, 22, of Croton Hudson, New York, walking along the highway. He was taken into custody for DUI and transported to Mount Nittany Medical Center for a legal blood draw.

There, he assaulted a member of the staff. Charges were filed and an arrest warrant was issued.

A case of disorderly conduct was investigated by state police on Nov. 28.

According to authorities, James Brockhum, 31, of Oneida, New York, refused to leave St. Joseph’s Institute, which is located along Jacobs Way in Taylor Township. A citation for disorderly conduct was filed.

A case of retail theft was investigated by state police on Nov. 24.

According to authorities, someone allegedly stole a Pepsi from the Minit-Mart, located at 325 N. Front St. in Philipsburg Borough. The bottle of Pepsi is valued at $2.54. The investigation is ongoing.

State police investigated a case of fraud that took place at the Uni-Mart in Rush Township on Dec. 2.

According to police, $280 was taken from the business. The investigation is ongoing.

A two-vehicle crash took place on Jan. 12 along Interstate 99 in Spring Township.

According to authorities, a 2011 Ford Mustang driven by Kati Caldana, 27, of Bellefonte, collided with a 2021 Peterbilt tractor trailer when Caldana attempted to change lanes. She was transported to Mount Nittany Medical Center for treatment of her injuries by Pleasant Gap EMS. Both vehicles were driven from the scene.

State police were called to the scene of a two-vehicle crash that took place at 7:16 a.m. on Jan. 13. According to authorities, a 2014 Peterbilt tractor trailer being driven by Arnold Roberts, 33, of Benton, struck a 2012 Hyundai Elantra being driven by Lee Ann Patterson, 54, of Bellefonte, when Roberts was attempting to change lanes.

Police say Patterson suffered injuries in the crash and was taken to Mount Nittany Medical Center by Centre LifeLink EMS.

Damage was significant. Police were assisted at the scene by Gray’s Towing.

A one-vehicle crash called state police to the scene around 7 a.m. on Jan. 13.

According to authorities, a 2007 Volvo being driven by Djahongir Pirnazarov, 33, of Philadelphia, left the roadway, struck an embankment and overturned. The crash occurred along Interstate 80 in Boggs Township.

Damage was severe. Rees’ Towing and Snow Shoe EMS assisted PSP at the scene.

State police investigated a two-vehicle crash that took place at 8:27 a.m. on Dec. 23 along Interstate 99 in Patton Township.

According to police, a 2021 Dodge Challenger being driven by Angelica Nardelli, 35, of Altoona, collided with a 2019 Ford F250 Supercab driven by Joseph Knipmeyer, 57, of Summerhill.

No injuries were reported.
