5K Resolution Run

Not a runner? Gather along the route to cheer them on!

Runners and fast walkers can speed into the New Year on a certified, mostly flat, wheel-measured course around the streets of the Penn State Campus in one of the most popular events of First Night State College. The 5K Resolution Run starts and finishes on College Avenue. Even if you aren’t a runner (or fast walker) and would never run (or walk fast) in a million years, you can join in the fun by cheering on the participants.

The run uses chip timing provided by Runners High.

Registration fee is $25 if postmarked on or before December 24th. Thereafter registration is $28. Special incentive for runners ages 19 and under only: $15 for pre-race registration, $18 thereafter (note: FNSC Button not included in this package).

Runners can register online here , in person on December 30, 2-4pm at the State College Municipal Bldg (243 S. Allen St.) as well as on December 31, race day, from 4-6pm St. Paul’s United Methodist Church basketball court which will also serve as baggage storage during the race.
