Throwing: The Basics Pottery Class at The Rivet at Discovery Space

This class will be taught over two sessions on March 6 and March 13 from 2:30-4:30pm.

Get your pottery studio clearance while focusing on building your wheel throwing skills. This class will cover all of the studio policies at The Rivet as well as the processes that are needed to create a pot on a pottery wheel, including throwing, trimming, and glazing.

Students will be able to practice using the wheel under expert supervision. Anything that a student makes during the class will be fired in the kiln, free of charge. A student who attends both sessions will gain a pottery area clearance.

BONUS: Students taking this class will be credited with a Day Pass so that they may return to glaze their pots or work on their own projects during open studio hours.
