Alice A Croak, 95, passed away peacefully on March 4, 2025, at Grandview Nursing and Rehabilitation in Danville.
Born on October 13, 1929, in Mill Hall, PA, she was the daughter of the late Burnard and Edna (Myers) Bartley.
Alice always had a smile on her face and would talk to everyone she knew even strangers she had just met. She enjoyed walking outdoors, going to flea markets, thrifting and was always looking for a bargain. She also loved playing bingo and listening to country music and collecting owls.
Alice is survived by 3 sons, Paul Croak Jr (fiancé Carolyn Kelly) of Bellefonte, PA, Bruce Croak (fiancé Carmen Diaz) of York, PA, and Richard Croak (Lisa) of Danville, PA; 3 daughters, Patricia Wolford (George) of Winburne, PA, Cheryl Crispell (Joe) of Phillipsburg, PA and Deb Fasold (Tim) of Northumberland, PA; a sister, Mary Yocum, of Jersey Shore, PA; as well as 4 grandson’s, 3 granddaughters, 15 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandson and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Alice was preceded in death by 2 grandchildren, Russell Wolford and Carrie Ann Bell and four siblings: Joanne Weaver, Burnard “Sonny” Bartley, Evelyn Barner, Esther Walters.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family at a later date.
