Beverly E. Myers, 90, of Milesburg, passed away after a short illness, on Friday, January 31, 2025. Born on April 9, 1934, in Bellefonte, she was the daughter of the late Theodore and Mary (Fogleman) Ripka.
Beverly was a 1952 graduate of Bellefonte Area High School. She worked at Penn Tran for many years before retiring at the age of 62. She was of the Protestant Faith.
Beverly enjoyed being outdoors, working on her flower gardens, watching the birds, especially the cardinals, and looking for the deer that would come out of the woods. She also enjoyed making all types of crafts, attending yard sales, cooking and was an excellent pie baker. She liked to watch old western movies and listen to classic country music. She looked forward to all holidays and family gatherings.
Beverly is survived by her two children: Cindy L. Walters and her husband, Tom, of Howard and Terry L. Myers and his wife, Sue, of Bellefonte; three grandchildren: Jeff Myers, Lindsay Myers, and Christina Spicer and her husband, Brian, and two great grandchildren: Laylah and Chase.
She is also survived by two brothers: Leonard Ripka of Beech Creek and Kenneth Ripka and his wife, Sharon, of Bellefonte.
Along with her parents, Beverly was preceded in death by one brother, Ronald Ripka.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, February 5, 2025, from 10am – 11am, followed by the funeral service at 11am at the Daughenbaugh Funeral Home in Milesburg with Pastor Timothy Yates officiating. The burial will be at Meyer Cemetery.
