Charles “Buck” Fleming, of Madisonburg, and formerly of Jamestown, Colorado, and Lansdowne, Pennsylvania, died peacefully on Wednesday, February 10, 2021, at Mt. Nittany Medical Center, at the age of 83. Born on May 17, 1937 in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Charles and Elizabeth (Broderick) Fleming. On October 6, 1962, he married the love of his life, Dorothy (Keen) Fleming, who survives him at home after sharing over 58 years of marriage together. 

Buck attended the Germantown Academy and graduated from Lafayette College with a Bachelors degree. He served in the United States Marine Corps. 

Buck began his career in real estate development by rehabbing houses in Philadelphia. Most notably, he built a housing development in Wildwood Crest, New Jersey, and later specialized in building marinas at Penns Landing in Philadelphia, Waretown, New Jersey, and Brixham, England. 

In addition to his wife, Dorothy, he is survived by their two sons, Kevin Fleming (Laura), and Craig Fleming, and seven grandchildren. 

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his only sibling, Robert Fleming. 

Buck loved competitive sailing, reading, traveling, and storytelling. 

Funeral services and burial will be private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of Wetzler Funeral Service, Inc. in Bellefonte.
