Charles J. Wolfe Jr.

Charles J. Wolfe, Jr., 56, of rural Bellefonte, passed away at Geisinger Lewistown Hospital on Monday, April 19, 2021. Charles was born on September 12, 1964 in Lock Haven, a son of Charles J. Wolfe, Sr. of rural Bellefonte and the late Betty Silbaugh Wolfe. On April 27, 1991 he married the former Kelly J. (Johnson) Wolfe who survives at home. Also surviving are his children, Joshua Johnson (Hailey & Alexis) of Bellefonte, Megan (Shane) Wolfe (Emberly, Ayden and Graicen) also of Bellefonte and Kayla Wolfe of North Carolina and his loving dog, Sadie; his siblings, Melanie (Doug) Shearer of Spruce Creek, William (Gail) Wolfe of Grassflat, Cassie (Tony) Christensen of Tyrone, also his step- mother Rose (Emel) Wolfe of rural Bellefonte, and his step-brother, David Loesch of rural Bellefonte.

Charles was employed at Corning Asahi as a laborer before his retirement. He was a member of Milesburg American Legion Post 893. He enjoyed spending time with his family, friends, and loved his dog. Charles loved the outdoors, hunting, going to camp and bird watching, along with Nascar racing. 

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his sister, Charlene Wolfe and his step-brother Melvin Loesch.  

Family and friends will be received on Friday, April 23, 2021 from 6 P. M. – 8 P. M. at the Dean K. Wetzler Funeral Home 201 Spring St., Milesburg. We will be following CDC recommendations, facial covering will be required and social distancing.

Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
