Dustin A Taylor

Dustin A. Taylor, 28, of Centre Hall, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, January 7, 2021 in Bellefonte. Born on July 5, 1992 in State College, he was the son of Joseph A. Taylor and Misty A. (Lucas) Bowersox. 

Dustin attended the Bellefonte Area High School and earned his GED in 2010. He was of the Christian faith. 

Dustin enjoyed working out at the gym and listening to rock music on his favorite Sirius radio station, “Octane”. He had a huge heart, always trying to help people. He made it a point to make people laugh. It meant a lot to him to see people smile. He loved to spend time with his family, especially his niece, Josie, and to hang out with his friends.

Dustin is survived by his father, Joseph A. Taylor and his companion, Wanda Fink, of Bellefonte, his mother, Misty A. Bowersox and her husband, Robert, of Bellefonte, one sister, Kaylie J. Snook and her husband, Tyler, of McClure, PA and one niece, Josie M. Snook

Dustin is also survived by his paternal grandparents, Calvin and Judy Taylor of Centre Hall, maternal grandparents: Roy Lucas of Centre Hall and Melissa Grove and her husband, Gerald, of Alabama, and two uncles: John Taylor and his wife, Stephanie, of Centre Hall and Brian Lucas and his companion, Billie Jo Glasgow, of Millheim.

Public viewing will be on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 from 1-2pm at the Daughenbaugh Funeral Home in Centre Hall. Funeral services will be private. Following CDC recommendations, social distancing is encouraged, and face coverings will be required at all services

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Centre Helps, 410 S Fraser St, State College, PA 16801.
