Lloyd Alan Davidson, fondly known as Joe, peacefully passed away at his home on August 7th at age 75. It is with profound sadness to be sharing the passing of a beloved husband, father, brother, and pappy.

Born on October 13, 1948, to the late James J. and Pearl L. Stratiff Davidson, in Boggs Twp, PA, Joe was a retired United States Army veteran who received the National Defense Service Medal, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal and the Marksmanship Badge M14 for his years of service. He dedicated 19 years to the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission. Joe received a remarkable accomplishment of “an atta boy” award before his retirement.

Joe was a man of immense wisdom, unwavering kindness, boundless curiosity, and brought immeasurable joy with all who were fortunate enough to know him. Joe spent his time fishing, working on his numerous tractors, bird watching, and hunting with his brothers.

Joe will be remembered for his boyish charm, infectious laughter, and the tall-tale stories he shared. The memories of camping trips in Delaware, hunting in Colorado, and the family vacations on the beach of North Carolina will be remembered fondly.

He is survived by his wife Suzette Davidson; his daughters, Lindsay Eslinger and her husband Jordan Eslinger of Chambersburg, Pa., Keirstyn Biggans of Pittsburgh, Pa., and Jessica Biggans of Pittsburgh, Pa.; his granddaughter Charlie Joe Eslinger; siblings, Patricia Riglin and late husband James Riglin of Bellefonte, Carol Yearick and husband Jeffrey Bell of Howard, Lewis Davidson and late wife Judith Davidson of Howard, Charles Davidson and his wife Kim Davidson of Howard, and James Davidson and wife Jolene of Lincoln, NE.

Along with his parents, Joe was proceeded in death by his siblings Clarabelle Emenhizer, Emogene (Moose) Tyson, Arletta Walker, and Franklin Davidson.

Following Lloyd’s explicit instructions, there will be no services.
