Judy E. Walk (Tressler)

Judy Ellen Walk, 73 of rural Bellefonte, passed away at her residence on Thursday, July 22, 2021. Judy was born in Bellefonte, on September 25, 1947, a daughter of the late John J. and Gloria G. Rossman Tressler. On December 18, 1966 she married Lester M. Walk, Sr. who preceded her in death on February 11,1993. Judy is survived by her sons, Lester M. Walk, Jr (Billie Ludwig) of Curtin, Robby D. Walk (Deb) of Howard, Dennis D. Walk (Charie Payne) of Pleasant Gap, and her daughter, Lawana D. Confer (Tim Confer) of Bellefonte. Also surviving are her 16 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Judy is also survived by her siblings, Connie Poorman, Romaine Emel, Marion Perryman, Peg Tressler, Diane Burns all of Bellefonte, Elaine Meyer of MN. Jessy Tressler of Pleasant Gap, and Bonnie Lou Gureso. Judy was employed by the Howard Nursery before her retirement. She was a member of Bellefonte V.F.W. She enjoyed spending time with her family, doing puzzels, and being on the computer. The family would like to say a special thank you to Judy’s caregivers, Home Instead.

In addition to her parents, and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Johnny P. Walk, her grandson, Lester M. Walk III and her siblings, Jeffery Lynn Tressler, John “Bub” Tressler, Gilbert “Gibby” Tressler, Darlene Grubb, Barb Shouey, and Rose Ann Tressler.

Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, July 27, 2021 from 11 AM to 12 Noon at the Dean K. Wetzler Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Inc. 201 Spring St., Milesburg with the funeral service to follow at 12 noon.with Pastor Michael Fisher, officiating.
