Lanette I. “Lynn” Johnson, 53, of Bellefonte, passed away on Saturday, November 8, 2025. Born on May 19, 1972, in Bellefonte, she was the daughter of late Howard and Dale (Hillard) Walk, III. On November 21, 1999, she married Brian L. Johnson, who survives at home. 

Lynn was a proud graduate of Bellefonte Area High School, Class of 1990. She also earned her LPN certificate from Centre Pennsylvania Institute of Science and Technology in Pleasant Gap. She worked at Brookline/Juniper Village, retiring in 2014 after many years of service. After retirement she was a homemaker.

Lynn was of the Protestant faith. She held many interests and hobbies. She enjoyed Christmas and going for rides to look at the beautiful Christmas lights. She always liked all the fun at Halloween and seeing the kids dressed in costumes. She liked anything to do with Gingerbread, whether it was Gingerbread houses or cookies. She was an excellent baker, especially brownies and Christmas cookies.

“Lynn loved all animals, especially her bundle of pugs, Joey, Pearl, Lily, Diamond, & Gracie, and then also her two Pitt Bulls, Miley & Ellie. She loved her family and would do anything for them. She was proud of her children and all their accomplishments. Her favorite pastime was sitting on the porch, enjoying a cold Mike’s Lemonade and a good cigarette. 

Lynn is survived by her husband, Brian Johnson, Sr., three children: Makenzie L. Jones and her boyfriend, Floyd Day, of Orviston, Hailey L. Decker and her husband, James, of Bellefonte, and Brian L Johnson, Jr of Bellefonte. She is also survived by one brother, Howard Walk IV and his wife, Amy, of Bellefonte and her step mother, Patty Walk of Orviston. 

Family and friends are welcome for a public viewing on Thursday, November 13, 2025, from 5-7:30pm at the Daughenbaugh Funeral Home in Milesburg. There will be a time of sharing led by Carmen Benner.
