Formerly of Johnstown, Pennsylvania; passed away January 25, 2025; at Harmony in State College. Born in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, the son of Leander and Elsie (Miller) Allen. He was the youngest and was preceded in death by 5 brothers and 2 sisters.
Survived by daughter Patricia Doty; State College, sons Michael (Maria) Allen; Cincinnati, David (Eileen) Allen; Indianapolis. He will be sadly missed by granddaughters Rachel (Jess) Hunger, Katie Allen, Christine Allen, and Maribeth Allen; grandsons Christopher, Matthew and Peter Doty; great grandson Owen Robert Hunger and great granddaughter Anna Mary Hunger.
Lewis was a long-time resident of Johnstown, Pennsylvania and attended St John the Baptist Orthodox Church in Conemaugh.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 29, 2025 from 10:00 – 11:00am at Holy Trinity Orthodox Church in State College, 119 S. Sparks St., State College.
A funeral will immediately follow at 11:00 am with Father Alexander Cadmen presiding.
Lewis will be interred on Thursday, January 30, 2025, in the St Michael’s Orthodox Cemetery in Portage, Pennsylvania.
