Mary E. Klinger formerly of Julian, Pa. and past resident of Elmcroft Senior Living of State College, PA. passed away on January 23, 2021.


 Mary was born August 28, 1933 in Altoona, PA. She was the daughter of the late Howard & Erdie M. (Thompson) Woodring. She was the 7th child of 12. Surviving siblings are Edith M. Richards (David) & Donna N. Stewart (Robert). Mary was preceded in death by the following siblings: Harry P. Woodring, Violet R. Woodring, Howard C. Woodring (Betty), Homer E. Woodring (Marion), Ethel J. Dreibelbis (Charles), James W. Woodring, John W. Woodring (Molly), Elsie L. Stine (Art), Esther J. Woodring.

 On November 28, 1953 she married the late Roy E. Klinger who preceded her in death on September 12, 1992. Mary is survived by her 6 children, Timothy V. (Peggy) Klinger, Pennsylvania Furnace, PA, Brenda K.(Richard) Whitmer, State College, PA, S. Scott (Pat) Klinger, Snow Shoe, PA, B. Hope (Sonny) Fletemake, Bellefonte, PA, Braden D. (Jana) Klinger Lewisburg, PA, Edward D. (Lori) Klinger, Runville, PA. She also had 14 Grand Children, 19 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. 

 Mary was a waitress at the Nittany Lion Inn for 42 years. Working part-time while raising her children and later full time until her retirement in 1995. She was of the Methodist faith. Mary enjoyed spending time with family and friends, crocheting, cooking, gardening and any outdoor activity.

 In lieu of funeral services, the family will gather privately.
 A celebration of life for family & friends will be held at a later date.
