Obituary of Angela R. Smoyer, 32

Angela R. Smoyer, 32, of Bellefonte, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 24, 2010, at Mount Nittany Medical Center. Born on Sept. 30, 1977, in Harrisburg, she was the daughter of Robert L Smoyer, Sr. (Lisa), of Moshannon and Robin L. Stover Williams (Michael), of Julian.

Angela is a 1997 graduate from Bald Eagle Area High School and a 1997 graduate from the Central Pennsylvania Institute of Science and Technology in the field of Human Resources. While in school, she was a member of the flag/majorette squad. She is of the protestant faith. Angela had an amazing love for children, loved spending time with those close to her.

She is survived by her parents; her brother, Robert L. Smoyer, Jr. (Amy), of Snow Shoe; her two sisters, Kim A. Lefebvre (Michael), of Moshannon and Mandy L. Price (Russell), of Port Matilda; her grandparents, Marsha and Leonard Tressler, of Moshannon, Martha Smoyer, of Milesburg, Dorothy Stover, of Janesville; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was the proud aunt of Michael & Alexander Lefebvre, Lillie Smoyer, and Jackson Price. Also surviving Angela is her favorite aunt who was always there to care and nurture her, Sharon Hall (Kenneth). Preceding Angela in death were her great grandparents, Ivy and Michael Skripek, Lottie Nilson, and grandfathers, Merle Nilson, Arthur Smoyer, and Theodore "Buck" Stover.

Visitation will be Wednesday, Jan. 27, 2010, from 4-6 p.m. at Daughenbaugh Funeral Home, 106 W. Sycamore St., Snow Shoe. Funeral service will be on Wednesday, Jan. 27, 2010 at 6 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Cathy Dittman officiating. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105-1942.
