Obituary of Anna Corman, 90

Anna Margaret Weber Corman, 90 of Centre Hall, passed away Wednesday, June 23, 2010 at the Mount Nittany Medical Center. She was born in Snydertown on June 4, 1919, the daughter of the late Ray E. and Verna Smith Weber.

She graduated from Walker Twp. High School.

On September 18, 1937 she married Clifford H. Corman, he preceded her in death.

Anna was employed with the Bellefonte Area School District as an Assistant Cook for 19 years at the Bellefonte High School retiring in 1981. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Anna enjoyed stitching and making crafts for her family, friends and neighbors. She was an avid Pittsburgh Pirates fan.

She is survived by two daughters; Sandra J. Ferree (David L.) of Centre Hall and Darlene K. Klinefelter (Leo), of Nittany, two sons; Max E. Corman (R. Marie) of Pleasant Gap and Jerry L. (Delores) of Zion, one sister; Hazel Heininger of York, 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by one son; Larry J. and two brothers; Stanford and Charles.

Funeral services will be Friday, June 25, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the St. Mark Lutheran Church, 160 N. Main Street, Pleasant Gap, Pa. 16823 with the Rev. Kevin Shock officiating. There will be a one hour visitation prior to the service at the church. Burial will be at the Zion Cemetery in Walker Twp.
