Obituary of Anna F. Strouse , 91

Anna F. Strouse, 91, of Belleville, died Friday, October 25, 2013, at Valley View Terrace, Belleville.

Born March 8, 1922, she was the daughter of the late William Edgar and Zerelda M. Zimmerman Fisher. On July 22, 1940, she married Ralph H. Strouse who preceded her in death in 2011.

She is survived by two children, Grace S. Widmann and her husband, Charles, of State College and Ralph E. Strouse and his wife, Kay, of State College; one sister-in-law, Lois Fisher of Milesburg; two grandchildren, Jennifer A. Garis and her husband, Josh and Stephanie R. Castle and her husband, Jeff; one great-grandchild, Margaret Fay Garis.

Anna was a 1940 graduate of Bellefonte High School.

She was a secretary in the Athletic department at Penn State University.

Anna was a member of Pine Hall Lutheran Church, a member and past matron of the Eastern Star, a member of DAR and she belonged to the Penn State Faculty Staff Retirement Club.

Visitation will be 11 a.m. until 12 p.m., on Wednesday, October 30, 2013, at Pine Hall Lutheran Church, 1760 W. College Ave, State College. Funeral service will follow at 12 p.m., at the church, with the Reverend Susan Williamson officiating.

Burial will be in Pine Hall Cemetery.
