Anna Jane Musser Johnston, 93, of State College, formerly of Graysville, Pennsylvania Furnace, died Sunday, May 23, 2010, at Mount Nittany Medical Center.
She was born Dec. 1, 1916 at Rock Springs, Pennsylvania Furnace, the daughter of the late Ralph and Isabelle McWilliams Musser. She attended State College Area High School. She was married to Alex Everhart Johnston, who preceded her in death in 1966. After her husband's death, she became the sole owner and operator of Johnston Farm Equipment in Rock Springs which served the area's agricultural community for many years.
She is survived by her two sons, Edwin L Johnston, of State College, and David M. Johnston, of Camp Hill; a sister, Isabelle "Bea" Musser Taylor, of Virginia Beach, Va., two daughters-in-law, Joanne and Marie; five grandchildren, Christiana, Julia, Jessica, Lindsay and Kevin; and four great-grandchildren; and 11 nephews and nieces. She was a member of the Upper Spruce Creek Presbyterian Church in Graysville, where she was an active member for many years.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, June 3, at the Upper Spruce Creek Presbyterian Church in Graysville. Interment will follow at the Graysville Cemetery.
