Anna Marie Edmiston, 90, of Bellefonte, passed away Tuesday, January 14, 2014, at Hershey Medical Center. A daughter of the late Roy and Rella (Biddle) Jones, Anna Marie was born on May 4, 1923, in Milesburg. She was married to William Edmiston, who survives at home.
She was a graduate of Bellefonte Area High School, class of 1940, and was a homemaker. She was of the Protestant faith.
She is survived by two daughters; Rose Ann Alters and her husband Gene, of Pleasant Gap, Darlene Smith and her husband Stan, of Boalsburg, one sister, Faye Kelleher, along with four grandchildren; Michele Deter (Tom), Stacey Davis (Tom), Michael Wallace (Beth), William Smith (Carla Myers), and five great-grandchildren; Shane and Zack Davis, Kyle and Nicholas Deter and Grace Myersmith.
In addition to her parents, Anna Marie was preceded in death by two brothers; Robert Jones and Lester Jones.
The family will receive friends Thursday, January 16, 2014, from 6-8 pm, at Wetzler Funeral Service, Inc., 206 N. Spring St., Bellefonte, PA. The funeral service will be held Friday, January 17, 2014, at the funeral home, at 11:00 am, with Pastor Brian Vasey officiating. Burial will follow in Centre County Memorial Park, College Township.
