Obituary of Arlene R. Rinker, 87

Arlene R. Rinker, 87, of Mt. Union, passed away peacefully at the Westminster Woods Nursing Home in Huntingdon on Sunday, March 25, 2018. Born on April 25, 1930, in Huntingdon County, she was the daughter of the late Warren and Naomi Smith Hess.

Arlene was a 1948 graduate of Mt. Union High School. She was of the Methodist faith. She was a homemaker. She enjoyed reading the newspaper and her bible. She loved country music and going shopping with her family.

Arlene is survived by her daughter, Sharlene M. Worden and two sons; Alton E. Rinker and Edward A. Rinker, all of Mt. Union. Also surviving is her brother, Harold Hess of Robesonia, 11 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

Along with her parents, Arlene was preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters.

With respects to Arlene’s wishes, there will be no public service.
