Obituary of Barbara A. Confer, 84

Barbara A. Confer, 84 of Beech Creek, passed away Sunday, July 29, 2018 at the Manor Care in Jersey Shore. She was born on May 24, 1934, in Lock Haven, the daughter of the late Floyd and Ann Haugh Shope.

She married Darrell D. Confer who preceded her in death.

Barbara retired after many years in the nursing profession.

She is survived by one daughter; Tresia (Leroy Merrill) Rickert of Lock Haven, a son, Rick 9 Gail ) Confer of Beech Creek, a brother; Clair “Tarzan” (Nancy) Shope of Mill Hall, 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Kader-Neff Funeral Home, 135 Main Street, Howard with the Rev. Dr. Chris Davis officiating. Friends and family will be received from 10:00 – 11:00 a..m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be at the Hays-Fearon Cemetery at the families convenience.
