Obituary of Barbara Dyke , 85

Barbara M. Dyke, 85, formerly of Milesburg, passed in Bellefonte, on Thursday, December 31, 2015.

Barbara was born on July 4, 1930, a daughter of the late Clark and Mary Seprish McKinley. She was a 1948 graduate of Bellefonte High School. Barbara had worked for Bell Telephone Co. for 17 years as a senior operator, she then worked at Corning Asahi Video Products for 26 years having retired in 1999 as a supervisor Q.A. Barb enjoyed reading, and crossword puzzles. She was a member of Milesburg Senior Citizens and had attended Bald Eagle Valley Community United Methodist Church.

She is survived by four sons, Richard C. Dyke of Hershey, PA., Michael C. Dyke of Julian, Steven M. Dyke of Milesburg and Donald S. Dyke also of Milesburg. Also surviving are three grandchildren, three step-grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Charles McKinley and one sister, Helen Watson.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 4, 2016, at the Dean K. Wetzler Funeral Home, 201 Spring St., Milesburg, PA at 8:00 P.M. with Pastor Ronald E. Baker officiating. Family and friends will be received Monday, January 4, 2016, from 7:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. time of the services at the funeral home. Burial will be in Advent Cemetery, Boggs Twp., Centre Co., PA.
