Obituary of Barbara E. Vandermark, 79

Barbara E. Vandermark, 79 of Bellefonte, passed away Sunday, October 25, 2015 at her home. She was born on November 21, 1935 in Berwick, the daughter of the late Charles and Pauline Grozier Huntingdon.

She married Roger C. Vandermark on July 23, 1955 who survives at home.

Barbara was an active member of the Trinity United Church of Christ in Hublersburg, where she held many positions for many years. She was an active volunteer in many organizations including American Cancer Society, The American Cross, The Centre Volunteer in Medicine just to name a few. She was a licensed practical nurse.

She was a co-owner and operator of the Nittany Valley Tree Farm for many years along with her husband. She had also worked at the Mingoville Post Office. She enjoyed spending time with her famly.

Along with her husband she is survived by two sons; Mark (Joy) Vandermark of Ft. Walton Beach, Fl., and Kevin (Diane) Vandermark of Howard, and one daughter; Lark Vandermark of Auburn, four grandchildren; Hunter, Sarah, Jessica, and Nathaniel and four great-grandchildren; Savannah, Harlee, Gabriella and Isabella.

Service will be at a later date and will be announced.

Burial will be at the Pine Grove Cemetery in Berwick, Pa. at the families convenience.
