Barbara June Liner, 65, of Port Matilda, died Monday, May 3, 2010, at Centre Crest Home, Bellefonte.
She was born April 27, 1945, at Port Matilda, the daughter of Andrew and Mary Grace (Henninger) Liner, Jr. She is survived by a brother, Leroy C. Liner, of Port Matilda; and several cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Ronald E. Liner. She had attended the First English Lutheran Church, Tyrone and was a graduate of Tyrone Area High School in 1963. She was a member of the Susquehanna Winnebago Club and the Camp-a-Lot Club, of Port Matilda, and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Chapter 338, of State College. She had been employed at the Mellon Bank Operations Center, State College and the State College Bi-Lo, until its' closing. She then spent many years as caregiver for her ailing parents.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 6, 2010, at 11 a.m., at Derman Funeral Home, Inc., Tyrone, with the Rev. T.M. Talbot-Moses officiating. Interment will be at the Presbyterian Cemetery, Port Matilda. Friends will be received at the funeral home, Wednesday, May 5, 2010, 6-8 p.m.
