Obituary of Barbara Reed, 65

Barbara Ann Reed, 65, of Colchester, VT passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 14, 2013 at the Vermont Respite House in Williston, VT. Born on June 6, 1948, in Bellefonte, she was the daughter of the late Joseph G. & Dorothy J. Bechdel Reed, SR.
Barbara is a 1966 graduate of Bellefonte High School. She was a supervisor at Murata Erie in State College for many years, retiring in 2003.
Barbara was of the Methodist faith. She enjoyed spending summers in Camp Rich in Milton, VT for many years. She loved working with flowers and gardening. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family, especially her nieces and nephews.
Barbara is survived by her partner, Sydney R. White of Colchester, VT, by her siblings; Joseph G. Reed, Jr. and his wife, Pat; Dennis E. Reed, and Bonnie Shuey and her husband, Robert, all of Bellefonte. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her former partner, Deborah Goss.
A graveside service will be held on August 2, 2013 at, at 11am, at the Centre County Memorial Park, State College, PA with Thomas E. Reed officiating.
