Obituary of Barry L. Peters, 57

Barry L. Peters, 57 of Monument, passed away Friday, June 24, 2016 at his home with his family by his side. He was born on June 22, 1959 in Lock Haven, the son of Russell & Helen Gingrich Peters of Beech Creek.

He married Cynthia “Cindy” Bressler on February 11, 1978, she survives at home.

Barry was a technician for Centre Concrete and had hauled milk for 22 years throughout Centre & Clinton Counties. He also helped his father cutting wood.

He was a member of the Lock Haven Moose.

Barry enjoyed farming, riding his motorcycle and spending time with his family.

He is survived along with his wife, one daughter; Jodie (Kenneth) Wheeler of Beech Creek, one son; Chad Peters of Howard, one sister; Susan Lindsay of Beech Creek, two brothers; Merle Peters of Howard and Randy Peters of Beech Creek and seven grandchildren.

Funeral services will be on Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Kader-Neff Funeral Home, 135 Main Street, Howard with the Rev. Alan S. Eckenroad officiating. Friends and family will be received from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Monday, June 27, 2016. Burial will be at the Heckman Cemetery, Spring Mills.
