Benjamin Whitehill, 78, of Lamar, passed away at his home on Friday, March 2, 2018.
He was born on April 5, 1939,in Linden Hall, a son of the late Walter R. and Grace Stover Whitehill. He was married to Linda Rodgers, she survives in Howard.
Ben was a Union pipefitter for twenty years and a lifelong beef and cash crop farmer. He was a graduate of State College H.S. class of 58.
He is survived by two daughters, Jenny ( Larry) Trunfio of Townsend, Delaware, and Wendy ( Lance ) Thomas of Howard, three sons, Bruce ( Sherry ) Whitehill of Centre Hall, Keith WShitehill of Bellefonte, and Mike Whitehill of Howard.He is also survived by sister, Wanda Mains and four brothers, James, Stan, Danny, and Dennis Whitehill, and his seven grandchildren.
Private services will be held at St. Mark Lutheran Church, Snydertown with Pastor Frank Harpster III officiating.
