Obituary of Bernice Richards, 85

Bernice J. Richards, 85, of Bellefonte passed away on Friday, April 27, 2012 at Centre Crest. She was born April 25, 1927 a daughter of the late Charles and Helen Billett Lee. She was a member of the Filmore United Methodist Church. Bernice was an LPN at Centre Crest and at Mountain View ( the former Mount Nittany Medical Center). She is survived by one son, Thomas L. Roberts of Bellefonte. She is also survived by three sisters; Alene Loughner of Salt Lake City, Utah; Sara Neff of Zion and Martha McClintic of Bellefonte; five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by a daughter, Gail Garety; three sisters; Barbara Shultz, Kathryn Wion, and Grace Bloom; four brothers; Miles Lee, Robert "Buddy" Lee, Ralph Lee, and John W. "Billy" Lee. Services will be held at Dean K. Wetzler Funeral Home, Milesburg on Monday, April 30, 2012 at 7:00 P.M. with Pastor Duane Bardo officiating. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Monday, April 30, 2012 from 6 PM to 7 PM. Burial will be in Meyer Cemetery, Benner Twp., Centre Co. Arrangements are under the direction of the Dean K. Wetzler Funeral Home.
