Obituary of Betty Bressler, 84

Betty Bressler, 84, of Milesburg, formerly of Zion, passed away on Sunday, March 26, 2017 at Centre Crest Nursing Home in Bellefonte. Born on February 2, 1933, in Madeira, she was the daughter of the late Earl and Anna Smith Conway. On January 31, 1953, in Lock Haven, she married Kenneth B. Bressler, who passed away on April 23, 2005.

Betty is a 1951 graduate of Snow Shoe High School. She was a member of the Zion Community Church. She was a homemaker.

Betty enjoyed crocheting, crossword puzzles, canning vegetables, and making homemade jelly.

Betty is survived by her son, Robert D. Bressler of Spring Mills and two daughters; Sally A. Auman and her husband, Barry, of Bellefonte and Donna M. Sbarra and her husband, Frank, of Milroy.

Also, surviving Betty are her six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

Along with her parents and husband, Betty was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters. Betty was the last of her generation.

Funeral services will be on Friday, March 31, 2017 at 11am at the Zion Community Church, in Zion, with Pastor Scott Brown officiating, Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral service. Burial will follow at the Zion Cemetery.
