Blair T. “Buck” Pressler, 93, of State College died on Thursday, December 24, 2015, at Centre Crest Nursing Home, Bellefonte.

Born November 11, 1922, in Neffs Mills, he was a son of the late John Elmer and Sarah Lightner Pressler. In August of 1944, he married Mary Peck Pressler who preceded him in death on March
25, 1988.

He served our country in the U.S. Army from 1943-1945 during WWII. He worked as a Public Works Inspector for the State College Borough. He retired in 1983, after thirty-three years of
service.

Buck was an avid hunter; he enjoyed the outdoors and working. He was a member of the State College VFW Post 5825, and the State College American Legion Post 245.

He is survived by four children, Jean Lair of Bellefonte, Betty (Paul) Kalmbach of Pleasant Gap,
James (Laura) Pressler of State College, Barbara Klinefelter of Bellefonte; six grandchildren and several great grand children.
He was preceded in death by five brothers, three sisters, and one grandson.

Friends and family will be received from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 29, 2015, at the Mark D. Heintzelman Funeral and Cremation Services, 1034 Benner Pike, State College, PA. A brief service will take place at 12:00 p.m. Interment will follow the service at
Centre County Memorial Park, with full military in accord.
