Brian Lee Judy, 54, of rural Centre Hall, was received by God, Saturday, February 28, 2015, at his home, surrounded by his family.

He was born December 6, 1960, in Bellefonte; a son of Mae Dreibelbis Judy who survives in Centre Hall, and the late Donald Judy. On December 23, 1983, he married Laurie Judy (Oakes) who survives at home. Brian was a graduate of Penn State University, earning a B.S. in Business Logistics. He was working on his Masters of Divinity degree at Wesley Theological Seminary in Washington, DC. Earlier in life Brian worked for Snyder’s of Hanover and Glenn O. Hawbaker Inc. Always concerned about the well being of children and youth, he and Laurie served as foster parents to more than fifty children over many years. Some of the things he found most meaningful and enjoyable were spending time with his family, especially his granddaughters London and Madison; being a pastor; all Penn State sports; hunting, camping, playing softball, and taking an active part in leading youth at Creation Fest. He also coached various sports teams his sons were involved in. Brian would go out of his way to make friends out of acquaintances.
