Obituary of Chad F. Reedy , 47

Chad F Reedy, 47, of Julian, died Wednesday, Sept. 15, 2010, at home.

Born March 23, 1963, in Lewisburg, he was the son of Mervyn L. Reedy, of Lewisburg and Lucinda E. Koch Reedy, of Milton. Chad was a member of the Port Matilda Fire Co., Yeagertown Fire Department, Undine Fire Co. of Bellefonte, Lewistown Fireman's Relief Association, United Fire and Rescue in Lewistown, William Cameron Engine Company and the White Deer Township Fire Department. He was a 911 dispatcher for the Centre County Government and was also employed by the Regional Elite Airline Service.

Along with his parents, he is survived by his daughter, Amanda E. Reedy, of Burnham, and his son, Jared M. Reedy, of Lewistown. He is also survived by sisters, Gwynda CL Reedy, of Concord, N.C., Camilla A. Zimmerman, of New Columbia, and Danielle M. Garcia and her husband, Raul, of Albuquerque, N.M. Also surviving is his grandmother, Charlotte Koch, of Milton and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his infant brother, Mervyn Dwain Reedy.
