Obituary of Clifford P. Bastuscheck

Clifford P. Bastuscheck passed away on November 25, 2014. He was born in Washington, D.C. on March 23, 1923, to Paul M. and Amy E. (Schneck) Bastuscheck.

Raised in Hazleton, PA, he graduated from Hazleton High School in 1940, from Penn State in 1944 (B.S. Chemical Engineering) and 1950 (M.S. Physics). On June 10, 1945, he married Margaret Saby who, after almost sixty five years of marriage, passed away on February 13, 2010. From 1950 to 1985 he was employed by Haller Raymond and Brown, Inc. and its successor companies, HRB-Singer and HRB-Systems. Volunteer activities included an active member of the Alpha Fire Company for 27 years, the Schlow Regional Library for more than 25 years, and Docent at the Centre County Historical Society for more than 10 years.

He is survived by three children, C. Marc (Connie) of New York City, Jeffrey A. (Colleen) of Auburn, AL, and Barbara Rhodes (Robert) of Lincoln University, PA, four grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Memorial will be at the convenience of the family.
